Hello Everyone,
I trust this email finds you well.
I've been teaching classes with students for about 8 weeks, from December 4th to February 5th, and now I'm enjoying the vacation period. During this break, I plan to occasionally conduct live sessions to catch up with all of you.
Recently, I've made some changes in the way I create reels, and many of you seem to enjoy phrases like "이거... 있어요?(igeo isseoyou - Do you have this?)" or "이거... 주세요.(Please give me this.)" If you ever find yourself struggling to recall a Korean word, feel free to give this method a try. Haha!
Now, what's the best way to study Korean? Many inquire about the most effective method, but truthfully, the best approach is simply to start. As you progress, you'll naturally discover methods that suit you best, gradually becoming more proficient.
In language acquisition, the importance of input cannot be overstated. Listening and reading extensively are pivotal. These activities not only enhance comprehension but also lay the groundwork for improved speaking and writing skills. Through attentive listening, learners refine pronunciation and absorb linguistic nuances. Similarly, avid reading expands vocabulary and deepens understanding of grammar and cultural context. As learners accumulate linguistic input, their speaking and writing abilities naturally progress, fostering confidence and eloquence in communication. Ultimately, extensive input catalyzes holistic language development, promoting fluency, accuracy, and cultural competence.
Have you ever experienced the joy of someone understanding your imperfect Korean? Or understanding Korean spoken in a TV show? I hope you get to experience that feeling in my classes.
Another shortcut to your Korean language journey is through Like a Korean's classes.
