Hey there,
“I don't have any chance to speak Korean!”
Many people studying Korean identify the lack of speaking opportunities as one of the most significant challenges in their Korean language journey. I have thought about ways to improve your speaking skills and considered offering this through our service.
One reason speaking Korean can be intimidating is uncertainty about correct pronunciation and understanding by Koreans. So, I'll discreetly help you improve your pronunciation. Let's create your own secret Korean learning method that others don't know about.
"Speak Korean LAK" is a service aimed at enhancing the pronunciation skills of Korean learners by providing speaking opportunities.
In February, we launched a new pronunciation service. We were happy to welcome around 20 participants who were keen to improve and develop their skills. Together, we have started working on ways to better our approach to learning pronunciation.
Our participants have noticed improvements in their pronunciation over the past month, which has been great to see and hear. We're still in the early stages of this service, so there's plenty of room for growth. We're actively collecting feedback and ideas from participants to make improvements.
Service Method:
Participants receive four sentences for pronunciation practice each day, five days a week. After practicing by imitating the pronunciation provided by the instructor, participants record their own pronunciation and submit it to the instructor via the Line app. The instructor then listens to each submission individually and provides feedback.
Service Tools:
The Line app is required for participation. It serves as a platform for submitting pronunciation recordings and communicating individually with Inae.
Service Benefits:
This service offers personalized assistance in improving Korean pronunciation. Through regular practice and feedback, participants can enhance their pronunciation skills efficiently.
Cost:
$35 per month (Initially limited to 10-20 people)
Frequently Asked Questions:
1) Do I have to send my pronunciation on specific dates?
You can send your pronunciation at any time during the week. You can either send it daily or submit all your pronunciations for the week at once on weekdays.
2) How do I make payments?
We use PayPal for recurring payments. You can cancel your subscription after the monthly payment if you wish to stop the service.
3) Is it possible to get a refund after purchase?
If you request a refund during your subscription period, you will receive a 100% refund for the remaining period (excluding PayPal fees).
4) Does this service include Korean lessons?
This service focuses solely on Korean pronunciation challenges. Korean lessons are not included.
5) Can other people hear my pronunciation?
All services are provided one-on-one. You will only communicate directly with me in a one-on-one messaging format, so others will not hear your pronunciation. Don't be afraid of making mistakes; give it a try!
"Speak Korean LAK" is a valuable tool for improving Korean pronunciation for language learners. Through regular practice and personalized feedback, users can effectively enhance their pronunciation skills, enriching their overall Korean language learning experience.
Here's what we've been working on:
Levels: Initially, we planned to have just beginner and intermediate levels. However, after receiving feedback, we expanded our range to include levels from 0 for those new to Hangul to 3 for those looking to challenge themselves more.
Sharing Pronunciations Method: Initially, I shared pronunciations and sentences through 1:1 chats on Line, which made it hard for participants to overview everything. Now, I use Padlet for my pronunciations, Korean sentences, and their English translations, making it easier for everyone to access and review. Participants still send their own pronunciations to me directly, ensuring personalized feedback while benefiting from an easily navigable resource.
Community Features: We've introduced challenge stickers and a group chat room for participants. This allows for attendance tracking, progress sharing, and mutual encouragement within a supportive community environment.
We hope you find these updates exciting and encouraging. Remember, there's no pressure to master four sentences a day. Even practicing one sentence can make a big difference over time.
We're planning to open up spots for 10-20 more participants soon, as we've seen a lot of interest. This might be the last opportunity for a while, as we focus on improving the service with the feedback we've received.
