Hello everyone!
How have you all been? I’m currently writing to you from a cozy café in Chiang Mai, Thailand, enjoying a refreshing “workation.” Balancing work and relaxation here has been an incredible way to recharge and find new inspiration. ✨
Now, I’m thrilled to share the plan for our upcoming LAK course! I’ve outlined a structure below and am open to your feedback so we can make this course as practical and rewarding as possible. Let’s start the conversation, and I’d love to hear your thoughts! 😃
Here’s What to Expect During Our 6-Week Course:
Part 1: Vocabulary Learning Challenge
Each class, we’ll cover 6 to 10 essential words with images and tools like Quizlet to help make them stick. Vocabulary is the backbone of any sentence, so by the end of the course, you’ll have around 70 words under your belt! (Does this number of words sound manageable?)
Part 2: Using Basic Grammar
In every session, we’ll tackle one new grammar point with practice exercises designed to get you using it in real sentences. This isn’t just about recognizing grammar; it’s about knowing when and how to use it confidently!
I understand everyone has different schedules and learning speeds. While these goals are here to guide you, they aren’t strict requirements. Life can be busy, so if you need more time, you can go at your own pace using our recorded lessons and flexible assignments.
Part 3: Drama Episodes to Reinforce Learning
For Levels 1 through 9, every class brings a new episode featuring Lina and Minsu’s fun and relatable storylines. These mini-dramas bring your vocabulary and grammar to life, with listening and speaking practice that leaves you looking forward to the next class. (From Level 10 and up, we switch to short and useful dialogues tailored to your advanced skills.)
Part 4: Assignments and Feedback
Every class wraps up with an assignment to reinforce what you’ve learned. You’ll apply new skills and receive feedback to help you improve. This step ensures you understand the material fully and grow from each lesson.
That’s the plan! I’d love to hear your thoughts or any ideas you have to make the course even better. Your input is important, and I’m excited to shape this journey with you!
For those of you who are still considering but have not registered for the class yet, there are only 4 days left for the discount period, and all classes are limited to a maximum of 12 people! So hurry and take your seat in class time!
This time, I’ve especially opened a new time slot for the European time zone! Many of you requested a class in this time zone via Instagram, and from our survey, we found that weekend mornings were the favorite choice. So, check out our new Saturday morning class tailored for European time – hope to see you there!
