Hi Everyone,
I hope you're all doing well!
I recently returned from my first trip to Hawaii, and it was simply breathtaking. The stunning beaches and lush landscapes were a sight to behold. I'd love to share some of my photos with you!
Many of you have been eagerly awaiting my next class, and I'm thrilled to announce that registration is now open! Here are the key dates:
First Registration Period: Until June 24 (Discounted Tuition Promotion!)
Second Registration Period: Until June 30
Let me introduce you to our wonderful Like a Korean classes:
Curriculum: Our classes are continually evolving based on your feedback. We make sure the content is just right—not too hard, not too easy. It's the perfect balance to keep you engaged and progressing.
Instructor: With over 12 years of experience teaching Korean, I, Inae Kim, am here to guide you through each step. I've taught at various public institutions and am skilled at explaining grammar and vocabulary in a way that's easy to understand.
Class Atmosphere: Our classes at LAK are warm and encouraging. You'll find a supportive environment where mistakes are welcomed as part of the learning journey. Many students have praised the friendly and motivating atmosphere.
Class Schedule: We meet for 2 hours a week over 6 weeks, totaling 12 lessons. Each session covers vocabulary, one grammar point, and a short dialogue. We ensure you fully understand and can use the material through repeated practice. In the final session, we'll review everything to reinforce long-term retention.
Speaking Practice: For higher levels, we offer an additional 20-minute optional speaking practice session after each class. This allows you to freely use what you've learned.
Recorded Lessons: If you miss a class, don't worry! We provide recorded lessons so you can catch up or revisit the material. You can also reach out to me anytime with questions.
Post-Class Review: To reinforce what you've learned, we provide online flashcards for vocabulary review and assignments with feedback. This makes learning Korean enjoyable and effective.
Class Materials: All materials are shared through Padlet for easy access and organization. You can review materials before and after class, including recorded lessons and slides.
Graduation Ceremony: At the end of each session, we hold a graduation ceremony for all levels. It's a day to showcase what you've learned, encourage one another, and enjoy fun games at the wrap-up party.
Class Levels: This session, we're offering:
Beginner (A1) Level 3: For those who can read Hangul but find basic grammar challenging.
Elementary (A2) Level 7: For those who can form basic sentences and use different tenses but want to practice more complex grammar.
Intermediate (B1) Level 11: For those who have mastered basic Korean and want to further their skills. Ideal if you've studied Korean for over a year and feel confident in your abilities.
(LAK classes range from Level 1 to Level 16, covering Beginner A1 to Intermediate B1 levels.)
